Jim has extensive experience working with professional and recreational athletes. His own background as a competitive athlete gives him the understanding to help you get to your health related and athletic goals safely. Jim’s background as an athlete includes National Championship Titles in competitive Karate, Canadian National Team member K1 - Thai Boxing, Mountain Biking, running Marathons, 5 K and10K . His coaching career includes Head Trainer of Hook Up Muay Thai Boxing, Canadian Chief Instructor Goju Ryu Karate and most recently Canadian National Team CoachK1 -Thai Boxing. Jim is an avid mountain biker and when he is not on his bike you will find in the gym lifting for a Personal Best (or in his kitchen creating a new food disaster/masterpiece ) Jim’s practice includes Registered Massage Therapy (RMT), Fascial Stretch Therapy, (Certified FST), Russian Hard Style Kettlebell(HKC), Tui Na and Traditional Chinese Cupping Practitionerand Personal Training. His strengths include improving athletic performance, injury assessment, functional movement analysis, treating sports injuries, nutrition, and rehabilitative exercise programs.
