Before becoming a certified Stott Pilates Instructor and Thai Massage Therapist, Diane Niec earned her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Windsor, Ontario.
No stranger to success (Diane was part of the Dora Award-winning “Theatre Gargantua” and the recipient of Windsor U’s Diana Madey Kelley Award), Diane is currently using her dramatic flare and skills as a teacher to the benefit and enjoyment of Toronto’s fitness community.
What’s on the slate for this virtuoso trainer? She plans to run a 10k, finally get up on waterskis, read the complete works of William Shakespeare, and create the first Urban Athlete Pilates video.
She also hopes to put those well-exercised lungs to work and, building on accomplishments as a professional singer, belt out a memorable rendition of the national anthem at a sporting event and record her own Christmas CD! In her spare time, Diane enjoys yoga and Zen breathing, reading, cooking, and singing and dancing with friends.
